The main history of the Stokes company comes from a manuscript of the late Leigh Blackburn and Gwyn F James, an edited version of which appears on our Resources menu under Stokes & Sons. Recently Stokes: A proud heritage, 140 years in Australian manufacturing history by Dr Alan Gregory has been published with the book launch due on Friday 4 February at 6pm at the Royal Melbourne Golf Clubhouse in Blackrock, Melbourne. It is available at $50 plus $15 postage.
