This weekend (10/11 December 2022) we received the sad news of the passing of Dick Junge, a former Paul Simon Memorial Award winner. Dick was in fine form at the Morwell Numismatic Society Christmas meeting on the previous Monday. As is customary, Dick provided an example of his woodworking skills as a prize in their fundraising raffle, an item that was always keenly sought by many. His son Tilo is the long-standing president of the Morwell Numismatic Society and all his family are active participants in the Society. Dick, the Society’s only ever Life Member, will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
