The latest volume of the Journal of the Numismatic Association of Australia is ready to print (PDF downloadable from the NAA website). This is a special volume devoted to the Teaching in Numismatics, and while the articles are set in the context of ancient coins, the pedagogical aspects are common to all areas of numismatics. This is an important volume to study if we are to make numismatics available to a wider audience even if not in a formal teaching environment. It is also a very useful volume for learning about ancient coins for those who haven’t become immersed in this fascinating blend of numismatics and ancient history.
Printed copies are available (at cost) at $26 per copy plus postage as follows:

Postage costs within Australia

1 or 2 copies (large envelope up to 500 gm) $5.50

3, 4, or 5 copies (satchel up to 5 kg) $9.40

6 to 10 copies (larger satchel up to 5 kg) $12.75

Postage costs internationally
This will need to be arranged individually.
Orders should be submitted of numbers of printed copies required, to be sent to Barrie Newman (adelaidemint@bigpond.com), with payment to be made on receipt of invoice. The printer is prepared to wait until we have final numbers of printed copies before they commence printing which will save us having left-over copies like we had with previous orders. There are already orders from authors and other interested parties.
In order to economise on postage costs, potential orders should be sent to the local society/club. For example, all WA orders can be made through the Perth Numismatic Society. This will also reduce the number of invoices required.
ORDERS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN 31 OCTOBER 2021
